ORLENA CAIN : EDITOR IN CHIEF / PRESIDENT

Orlena Cain may have been born in Belleville on a small farm, but her achievements in media have been larger than life.
After completing her certificate at Loyalist College in the Broadcast Journalism program, the 30-something has already had a brief stint with ET Canada as a Chase Producer and from that landed a dream job working as an on-air host with popular Canadian television network, The Shopping Channel.
Cain's ambition also led her to create SugarCain Entertainment, where she has been able to interview music artists like Dierks Bentley and Sophie B Hawkins, actors like Johnathon Schaech, models like Petra Nemcova and media mogul Sir Richard Branson to cut her teeth at reporting.
Only in its third year, the online E-zine that blogs the hottest trends and entertainment news. With the help of more than 25 international accredited freelance reporters, the female operated website has more than over 115,000 thousand readers across North America and Europe double-clicking their way to the site.
Not only has Cain dabbled in television and print work, this jack-of-all-trades has also tried her hand at radio reporting as well. For more than five years, Cain worked with Skywords Traffic network as a traffic reporter,delivering news to motorists all over Ontario. She was also a radio host for York University's radio station "The Cutting Edge" on CHRY105.7 FM.
The verdict on Cain is overwhelmingly unanimous – sources, producers and fellow media peers agree that Cain is a charming woman who combines genuine enthusiasm and commitment to any media project. Cain's personable nature is also a direct result of her experience as a promotional spokes model and hostess for more than 15 years. She has worked with Canada Music Week, Toronto Home Show and numerous Toronto Car Shows among several others. With her infectious mood and disarming smile, Cain is a hypnotic and vivacious force. POLKA BABE – Graduated from Gr. 8 at the Ontario Conservatory of Music at the age of 13.
ALL ABOUT CARE – Was a Social Worker for 5 years, working with young offenders, learning disabled, autistic and special needs – even considered becoming a police officer.
FITNESS FANATIC – Taught aerobics for 5 years and loves running, yoga, strength training, volleyball, biking and hiking.
