Loretta Walsh
Loretta Walsh is a classically trained acting graduate of the University of Southern Queensland in Australia. She has also studied with Ben Ratner, Dean Armstrong, Mark Bowden, Anthony Wong and Lewis Baumander (to name a few!).
She has worked extensively in theatre, television (Water Rats, 7 Things to do before I'm 30), voice-overs, commercials and short films (The Sandbox, Subduction).
Loretta has worked for a number of theatre companies including Playbill, Upper Canada Playhouse, Harbourfront, Te-amim Music Theatre and the Port Stanley Festival Theatre. Favourite shows include, 'Moulin Rouge', 'Last of the Red Hot Lovers', 'The Secret of Gabi' Dresser', '99% Accurate', 'Black Comedy' and 'Othello'.
Loretta is a new addition to the Vancouver film and television scene, just having moved to the west coast from Toronto this past July.
Watch for her playing 'Jewel' in '7 Things to Do Before I'm 30' on Lifetime in January 2008.
