Gina Nemi is currently a public relations practionner in the making at the University of Guelph-Humber, with one year to go in the four year program before she makes her debut in the “real world” of media.

"It wasn’t difficult for me to figure out that my calling would wind up in the media industry.My love for music of all genres, film, art, and fashion has been developed and nurtured since I was a little girl."

Being around such influences in the family from marketing directors, public relations practionners, and graphic artists, Gina was constantly influenced and surrounded by ideas circulating in main stream media. With several years of conservatory piano behind her, she always knew she had an attachment and love for music!

Her love for the media and acting developed throughout high school. At Holy Name of Mary she was in the drama program for 3 years, and was involved in writing,directing, acting, and set design for various plays. Shecontinued on to perform in the Kiwanis Festivals, as well as the Sears Festival, going on to win various awards in Script Writing . Gina Nemi lends her skills as a savvy emcee, in the past she has co-emceed various events and concerts during school and still remains a sought after talent!

Although it is only her third year as a media student, Gina have taken the time to work for various organizations such as the Brampton Music Theatre, working together with the marketing and fundraising department to raise funds for the continuation of the Youth Program, so that the disadvantaged and mentally challenged youth have an opportunity to shine through the performing arts. Gina also holds her position as media publicity and promotions rep on the team for The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, helping to raise awareness for their annual event. Gina never stops - she currently works in the advertising department for Humber College and has been key in positioning some important ads monthly!

When all is said and done, Gina has been working in the entertainment industry in any way her talents allow and will continue to dominant many areas of interest."My love for music, acting, and fashion, has propels me to delve further and grow in any way I can. This and more continues to be the driving force everyday of my life."
