HOW TO KILL RECORDS SIGN FIRST ARTIST

How To Kill Music have signed their first artist to their label, The Royal Society Featuring Nikki Awesome. The single, “You Say (It Was Supposed To Be),” will be released to radio and available at digital retail on Tuesday, August 12th with distribution provided by Warner Music Canada.
The mystery of Nikki Awesome is quite clear. She was raised on a strict diet of diamond shards and sugar-free champagne, and was born from the pop cultured delusions of a posh ex-raver’s neon spinal tap. Melodic synth-pop juxtaposed by lyrics bred in the brain of an impermanence addict, Nikki Awesome’s style stretches elastic from electro to hip hop. Logical isn’t it?
How To Kill Music is owned and operated by Die Mannequin’s front woman Care Failure and her longtime manager Paul “Mr. Butterscotch” Shull. To date, the only releases on How To Kill have been from Die Mannequin; EP’s How To Kill and Slaughter Daughter as well as a compilation of the two, Unicorn Steak.
