The Fashion Design Council of Canada (FDCC) has announced that L’Oréal Fashion Week Spring Collection 2007 will take place October 16th to October 22nd, 2006 at MUZIK (15 Saskatchewan Road) in Toronto. The weeklong event is Canada’s premier showcase of fashion design talent. L’Oréal Fashion Week will present designers from across Canada, Los Angeles, Malta and Milan. The FDCC is pleased to announce relationships with Russian Fashion Week, World Fashion Week in Los Angeles, Fashion Technology Park in India and a new group spearheading trade shows in Tokyo and Paris.
For one night, the Drake Hotel offers the biggest and brightest show in Toronto. Night Light, a music, food and art extravaganza is part of Scotiabank Nuit Blanche, a signature event of the City of Toronto’s Live with Culture initiative. The Drake Hotel will be a beacon on Queen West, initiating a major street party with an elaborate light show in the gallery district.
